2 Corinthians 9:12-15
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Devotional
This indescribable gift is one of blessings, a gift that places you in good standing with God. Imagine being chosen as the messenger for the Creator Himself. God is ready to answer the prayers of His children through these chosen vessels.
He would bless you abundantly, ensuring that you lack nothing, simply so others can see His provision and give praise to Him. This, indeed, is an indescribable gift.
God uses you as a beacon of hope, a living testament that answers to prayers are possible. What an honorable position for a Christian to hold! How could you not be filled with joy at this thought?
Imagine carrying God’s blessings to His people, being the direct link between the Almighty and His children. In essence, this is what it means to be a priest of God. The priests of God enjoyed many privileges, including direct access to His blessings. Today, be a priest of God, a vessel through which His love, grace, and provision flow to others.
Declaration
I will gladly be a priest for God so I can receive abundat blesings.
Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank you for making me a part of Your church, for allowing me to be a member of Your flock. I long to be as close to You as possible, to be the sheep who stays near to You. I don’t want to be on the fringes of Your flock, but I desire to be in the center of Your presence. Make me a priest in Your kingdom, and let my blessings be a testimony that draws others to You.
