Are you intentionally seeking God in your daily life? Is His kingdom shaping your thoughts, choices, and priorities? If not, consider what it means to live a life centred on Him. Throughout the Bible, we are invited into more than a habit of “putting God first”, we are called into a way of living where He is at the heart of everything.
Seeking God first is not about a position in a list of priorities, but about direction. It is about pursuing His kingdom in how you live, how you love, and how you respond to the world around you. When your life is centred on Him, your decisions begin to reflect His will naturally.
This is seen in the story of Cain and Abel. Abel’s offering reflected a heart aligned with God, while Cain’s did not. It wasn’t merely about giving first, but about giving from a place of trust and devotion. God desires more than routine, He looks at the posture of the heart.
As a child of God, aim to live each day with Him at the centre. Invite Him into your decisions, your work, and your relationships. Whether you give, serve, or start your day in prayer, let it come from a life that is intentionally pursuing Him. When your life is aligned with God’s kingdom, everything else begins to find its proper place.

I surrender my whole life to You, Lord, my plans, my desires, and my future.
Let Your kingdom and righteousness be my greatest pursuit.
