Day 6: Speak Blessings Over His Life

You may not yet know who your future husband is, or perhaps you do. Regardless, your prayers can begin shaping his life long before you become his wife. Through your intercession, God can bring about powerful transformations in his journey. Imagine the breakthroughs, the open doors, and the divine guidance he could experience because you stood in the gap for him even before you exchanged vows.

On this sixth day of fasting, take time to speak life over your future husband. Declare blessings over every area of his life — his health, his work, his spiritual walk, his relationships, his wisdom, and his purpose. Let your words carry power, rooted in faith and love. May this day be a turning point for him, even if he doesn’t yet know you’re praying, because God does.

Blessings Over His Health and Strength

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 40:29

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Health and strength are precious gifts, often overlooked until they’re needed most. Without them, even the strongest vision can waver. As you fast and pray for your future husband, intercede for his complete well-being – body, mind, and spirit. Speak life into his bones, clarity over his mind, and peace over his emotions.

Whether you know him yet or not, lift him up to the One who knows him intimately. Declare that sickness, injury, or weariness will not overtake him. Proclaim that he is vibrant, resilient, and covered by the healing power of Jesus Christ. Bless him to walk in divine health, protected from the snares of the enemy and sustained by God’s grace.

Prayer

Almighty Father,
I lift up the man You are preparing for me. I may not know him now, but You know him intimately. I pray for strength, divine strength that sustains him even in weakness. Fill his bones with vitality, his mind with clarity, and his soul with peace.
Keep him in perfect health. Let no sickness or affliction find a place in his body. I plead the blood of Jesus over his health now and always.
Surround him with protection wherever he goes. Keep him from danger, disaster, and disease. Let Your angels be his guard.
Strengthen him emotionally, spiritually, and physically. May he rise each day renewed, full of purpose, and wrapped in Your grace.
Let him live a long, healthy life to serve You, to fulfill his calling, and to love me well.

Blessings in His Friendships and Relationships

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

The people in your future husband’s life will shape not only his journey but yours as well. Friendships and relationships can either build him up or break him down. A wise, godly friend can help him step boldly into his calling, while the wrong relationships can pull him off course.

As you speak blessings over his life, intercede for the friendships, mentors, family ties, and community that surround him. Pray that God will align him with people who uplift, encourage, and challenge him in righteousness.

Ask the Lord to remove every relationship that would hinder his growth or draw him away from God’s plan. Bless his social circle; whether at work, in ministry, among friends or family that it would bring joy, wisdom, and prosperity into his life.

Everlasting Father,
I bring before You the relationships in my future husband's life. Surround him with people who reflect Your love, truth, and wisdom.
Place within his circle friends who strengthen his faith, speak life into his purpose, and walk with him through every season. Let him never walk alone, but always be supported by those who care for him genuinely.
Remove from his life any ungodly influences, people who would distract, discourage, or mislead him. Help him to walk away from unhealthy connections and to seek the counsel of the righteous.
I pray that his relationships will be fruitful, filled with peace and mutual growth. Let his connections at work, in church, in his family, and among friends be a source of strength and joy.
May his relationships reflect Your heart and help him to become the man You have called him to be.

As you pray for your future husband, take time to speak blessings and goodness over every area of his life. Ask the Lord to lead him into his divine purpose and calling so that he doesn’t live aimlessly, but with clarity, vision, and direction. A man aligned with God’s will walks in favor, success, and peace.

Pray that your future husband has a heart that submits to God, a mind filled with wisdom, and a life that reflects divine obedience and purpose. When his heart is aligned with heaven, everything he puts his hand to will prosper and that prosperity will overflow into your future together.

Dear God,
I commit my future husband into Your hands. Lead him to the purpose You have designed specifically for his life. Let him not live an aimless or distracted life, but one filled with focus, passion, and divine direction.
Place Your calling deep in his heart, and stir in him a desire to pursue it fully. Walk closely with him, Lord, teach him Your ways and give him a heart that longs to obey You.
Grant him wisdom, insight, and the clarity to make choices that reflect Your will. Align his interests, goals, and desires with Your perfect plan.
Bless everything he sets his heart and hands to, because he is walking in step with You. Let his life be a testimony of Your favor and evidence that Your hand is truly upon him.

Blessings Over His Work and Finances

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Your future husband’s work and finances will play a significant role in his peace, confidence, and ability to lead your home well. One of the greatest pressures men often face is the responsibility to provide—financial stability can greatly impact his sense of purpose and well-being.

As you fast and pray, speak blessings over the work of his hands. Ask the Lord to grant him diligence, peace, and joy in all he does. If he is currently unemployed or facing financial struggles, pray for divine opportunities and open doors. Declare that his efforts will be fruitful and his finances blessed—not just for survival, but for abundance and generosity. Let your prayers go ahead of him, securing provision, promotion, and purpose in every area of his life.

Everlasting Lord,
I lift up my future husband to You, asking that You bless the work of his hands and cause him to prosper in all he does. Whether he is working now or still waiting for the right opportunity, I pray You would guide him into the right doors.
Establish him, Lord. Give him clarity, wisdom, and excellence in his work. Fill his days with peace and joy so that he can carry out his responsibilities with grace and diligence.
If he is without work, I pray for divine connections and open doors—lead him to the right job where he can grow, thrive, and fulfill his purpose.
I speak abundance over his finances. Let him not lack any good thing. Provide for his every need, and make him a generous man, full of integrity and good stewardship.
Let Your favor go before him and surround him like a shield. Let him experience the fruit of Your promises and know that You are the source of his success.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Men are naturally created to protect, provide, and lead, and that sense of responsibility can often weigh heavily on their minds and emotions. Even the strongest hearts can grow weary, and even the calmest minds can become overwhelmed in a chaotic world. As you pray for your future husband, ask God to grant him emotional balance, mental clarity, and deep, sustaining peace.

Pray that he is not crushed by burdens or fears, but that he learns to cast his cares upon the Lord. Ask that his heart be guarded from anxiety, depression, and discouragement. Declare that he will not only survive the pressure of life, but thrive with joy, confidence, and emotional wholeness through Christ.

Lord,
I bring before You the heart, mind, and emotions of my future husband. I ask that You surround him with Your perfect peace, the kind that surpasses all understanding and calms every storm.

Even though you may not be married yet and may not even know your future husband, your prayers can still prepare the way for a blessed and fruitful marriage. Have you ever considered that one reason for the wait might be that God is still preparing him? That He’s working in his heart, in his habits, in his healing, and in his readiness for love?

Use this moment to bless your future marriage. Speak life, joy, and longevity over your union. Pray for a strong foundation built on God’s love, filled with mutual respect, patience, and compassion. Ask God to make your home a place of peace and your partnership a reflection of His covenant love.

Almighty Lord,
I pray for my future marriage, and I ask that You prepare my future husband, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially, for the life You are calling us to build together.
Make him whole in every area of his life. Strengthen him, provide for him, and shape him into the man You’ve called him to be.
I bless our future union, Lord. Let it be filled with love, understanding, patience, and joy. Teach us to honor and cherish one another. Help us to forgive quickly, communicate openly, and love deeply.
Let our marriage be a light to others and a testimony of Your faithfulness. Fill our home with peace, laughter, and unity.
When the time is right, let our coming together bring blessings and prosperity into our lives. Bless us with children, and let them be a joy and a heritage from You.
