There are some perks to being a Christian. One of which is enjoying the promises of God and sharing in His inheritance. Being saved makes you a child of God. Being saved imparts the righteousness of God into your spirit. That also means that your life is no longer an ordinary one.
Just as you become subject to the rules of any country you visit and enjoy the privileges thereof, being a citizen of God’s kingdom also means that His proclamations on his children also cover you.
Your vehicle is your possession. It is a blessing from God. It is something that carries you from place to place. But a lot of people have lost their lives through auto accidents. Some have had life-changing injuries through auto accidents with their cars.
As a kingdom child, the evil one will use any avenue to destroy you. That includes the car you drive. When you sit behind the wheel each day, commit yourself in the hands of God. Your life does not belong to you. You are the property of God.
For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’"
Luke 4:10-11
It is not enough that you drive carefully on the roads. Just as it is not enough that you live your life in a way that is straight. There are many things that are beyond your control. While you sleep, there are forces of darkness working.
Similarly, it is not enough that you observe all the rules of the road because a great deal that happens on the road does not involve you. One driver’s mistake can cause you enormous damage. This is why you must pray for your car.
You must sanctify your car with the blood of Jesus. You must lay your hands on it and separate it from any chaos in the road. There are some gory accidents you see on the news and then see that one person who escapes it all. They look like they were never even in an accident. Those people received the special favor of God.
God’s hands covered them when all hope was lost and it looked like their time was up. That is the special favor that surrounds you and your car. You are not ordinary. You are specially made and are not easily broken. Claim your portion in the Lord. Do not accept just any fate at all and let your place in God’s heart speak for you.

Prayer against car accidents
Dear Lord,
I commit my vehicle into Your hands today. In my going out and coming in, I ask for Your divine protection over me and all who share the road with me. Shield me from any incidents or harm, and keep me far from gory accidents.
Lord, I pray to be removed from the consequences of other drivers' mistakes and to be spared from any road traffic accidents or disasters. Protect my car from crashes and ensure the safety of everyone around me. Let any attempts to push me into harm's way fail, and save me from causing harm to pedestrians.
Keep me from encountering trouble with this car, and let my journeys always be safe under Your watchful care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer to spot car faults in time
Dear Lord,
I ask that You sanctify my car and place it under Your divine care. Help me to recognize any faults or issues with the vehicle. Bring to my attention anything that may be dangerous, from punctures to engine problems, or anything else that could cause harm or accidents in the future.
Open my eyes to see and understand what my car needs for safe and smooth operation. Let Your angels guard me as I drive, surrounding this vehicle with protection.
Lord, I pray that this car will not become a financial burden but will instead be a source of blessings in my life. Thank You for Your provision and guidance. Amen.

Lord, grant me divine protection as I travel. Change my course away from disaster and trouble, and always direct me toward safety. Let this car be a source of joy and create blessed memories for me and my family.

Dear Lord,
I pray for Your divine protection over my car. Guard it from the hands of criminals, and let Your angels keep it safe at all times. Let it be resistant to theft or any criminal activity. Protect it from being broken into or robbed, and destroy all plans of those who intend harm.
Lord, I ask that You also protect it from mistaken identity or any confusion that could lead to trouble. Surround this car with Your grace and divine protection, and let it bring abundance and blessings into my life.
