See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
Matthew 18:10
Children are the leaders of the future. They are the mothers, fathers, teachers, doctors, mechanics, painters, artists, and the fabric with which the future will be built.
A child is a seed that is given to us by God to nurture. Our responsibility as adults is to make sure that these little seeds are nurtured each day with the right elements that will see them grow up to be strong members of society.
Look at the future you want for your child and start working towards it now. When a seed is put in the ground, it takes constant monitoring and supervision to make sure that seed is not stolen by animals or birds.
It takes commitment and time to make sure that those seeds are where they need to be to be able to receive the right amount of sunshine and water that it needs to flourish and grow.
As it starts to germinate, there is another responsibility to make sure that it doesn’t get trampled upon by any man or beast. As a parent, this is a very important responsibility.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22:6
When a germinated seed begins to get off the ground it starts to get stronger and taller. This is the time you must correct its upward trajectory to make sure that when it is big and heavy, it would not be off balance or not stand right.
When a tree isn’t standing the way it should, it does not receive the right amount of sunshine and water it needs to be able to grow and stay for a long time. Its ability to produce good fruit may also be negatively affected.
As mentioned before, a child is like a seed. Once it germinates and begins to grow, parents must pay particularly rapt attention to them. What they see and learn becomes a very vital part of their growth. They must therefore be monitored and constantly supervised so they do not learn things that will stunt their growth in the Lord eventually.
We must expose them to the right teachings and experiences so they do not grow up crooked. Just as a full grown tree is difficult to straighten, n full grown child is difficult to correct and discipline. This is why as a Christian parent, you must make it a priority that your child grows with the right values.
The word of God should be their sunlight and prayer should never depart from their lips. Teach your kids how to pray and live for God now so that when they grow they will not depart from it.

Let your children get in the habit of praying. Help them grow with kindness and compassion. Help them grow in the Lord. Teach them the word of God concerning them. Teach them good values because the kids of today are the adults of tomorrow.
We therefore have a responsibility to secure our future communities by raising good children. As we saw before, a kid who is raised right will become a good adult who contributes positively to their society. Teach them to be responsible and teach them to pray.
He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them,
Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
