As children of God, we have a spiritual inheritance, our birthright through Christ. Yet the enemy, though unable to take it from us directly, attacks our minds to make us doubt our identity and worth. Like a deceiver, he plants thoughts of unworthiness and unbelief, hoping we will forfeit what God has freely given.
Just as he tempted Eve and tormented Job, the devil uses hardship, fear, and lies to weaken our faith. But Scripture reminds us that “the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world” (2 Corinthians 10:4–5). Our greatest defence is to take every thought captive and align it with God’s truth.
Prayer is the key to this battle. It helps us dismantle strongholds, reject lies, and reaffirm our identity in Christ. Through consistent prayer and the Word, we overcome deception and walk confidently in the inheritance God has promised.
Don’t let the enemy’s voice be louder than God’s. Resist him by standing firm in your faith, and remember: you are a rightful heir to the Kingdom, deeply loved, and equipped to walk in victory.

Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life. Today, I come to you in prayer for renewal. Please remove from me the spirit of selfishness. Take away this demonic influence and set me free. I bind this spirit with the fire of Your Holy Spirit, and I trample upon it with the power of Your Word.
I declare that no longer will I be selfish. I declare that I will be generous, that I will care for others, and that I will look beyond myself. I commit to treating my neighbor as myself.
