So that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A choir is fundamentally a group of believers who are dedicated to using their voices to worship and praise the Lord. A choir only works when every voice knows what to do and when to do it. There is a sync that must occur if the music is to come out how it s supposed to. Every single note in a choir is of critical importance and must be preserved.
As a chorister, you must avail yourself to the Lord to be led by the Holy Spirit and not by your own understanding. Singing the songs of God is not the same as singing songs of the world. Songs of God serve a purpose to His people.
Remember the walls of Jericho came down as a result of trumpets and song (Joshua 6). This means that if the songs of God are sung the right way, they will cause miracles in the lives of people. These songs can destroy walls of bondage and slavery. All demonic interventions in the group will disrupt its purpose.
Every voice must play the role it is assigned. This makes sure that the desired sound comes out. No voice should do as they please but rather must adhere to instructions to be able to harmonize with the others.
The choir is very important in the house of God. As believers, we must learn to pray for the choir so it can function as the church and the Lord needs it to.

Prayer for harmony in the choir
Dear Lord,
We pray for unity and harmony within the choir. Let Your Spirit flow through their voices, blending them together as one. May each melody and note come out exactly as You desire. Let all who hear be moved, their hearts touched by Your presence.
As they sing, let Your Spirit stir within them; let their voices speak Your truth to all who listen. Let them not sing with their own strength, but with voices united and filled with Your divine presence.
