Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Reflections
Patience is one of the most important virtues that will help you in life. A lot of things can go wrong when you are not patient and you just rush through anything in life. When times are hard and circumstances are difficult, it is in our human nature to instantly want to make things better and sometimes the things we do to make things better can instead make things worse. This is why it is important to patiently wait on the Lord. Trust in his timing and know that when the time is right, God will renew and restore all things.
This verse says that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. When you trust in his timing and patiently wait on him, he restores and renews your body, mind, and soul. He makes you stronger than you have ever been. So you shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and you will not feel weak. So trust in God’s timing and always wait on him. He is never late. He is always on time. Be calm. Be patient and let him work.
