Verse – Tutus 3:4-6

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,

Devotional

The prophet Titus speaks of Jesus saving mankind not because of anything we have done to earn it, but solely because the Lord is merciful and His grace is abundant for us.

Imagine being born into a royal household, where your father is a king who bestows upon you immense treasures simply because you are his child. This inheritance is not a result of your actions or efforts but is yours by virtue of birth.

In the same way, Christ was sent to save us, irrespective of who we are or what we have done. This grace exists so that no one can claim to have attained heaven through their own efforts or merits.

Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the grace You have shown me. Thank You for sending Your Son to redeem me and for the boundless love You continue to pour into my life. I am deeply grateful for all You have done for me.

I accept this grace, Lord, and I ask for Your help to remain steadfast in You. Let me not be swayed by the distractions and temptations of this earth. Keep my heart and mind focused on Your will and Your truth.

Grant me the strength to stay faithful until the very end. Let my life be a reflection of Your love and grace.

Amen.
